1972 : Launch of our first workshop producing hand-made containers for the catering industry, operating out of the family garage in Lods,
1973 : Development of our self-service patisserie points in large and small supermarkets, and launch of the PATIPACK® range.
1978 : Launch of MULTIPACK®, the first heat-formed, hinged food storage box.
1983 : Construction of a new 2100 m² warehouse in Ornans.
1985 : Broadening of the commercial structure to encompass traditional shops.
1986 : Launch of an export department.
1987 : Creation in Ornans of a PVC plastic sheet calendering unit.
1988 : The company headquarters are relocated from Mouthier to a state-of-the-art facility in Ornans, and the company is renamed
1989 : Guillin Emballages floated on the second market of the Lyon stock exchange. Holding company Guillin Group founded.
1990 : Acquisition of French competitors Alphaform and Dynaplast, along with their foothold in the traditional sales sector.
Creation of a distribution subsidiary: GPI UK in the United Kingdom.
1993 : Takeover of Italian company Nespak, specialised in packaging for fruit and vegetables.
1996 : Launch of a new range of baked-goods containers combining plastic and card: CLASSIPACK®.
1998 : Changeover from PVC to PET, construction of a new extrusion unit at Guillin Emballages.
1999 : ISO 9001 Quality Certifcation secured for all companies in the Guillin Group family.
2000 : Development of THERMIPACK®, which won an award for packaging and the European "Eurostar" award.
2001 : Reinforcement of our position in the catering market with the acquisition of the Socamel/Rescaset group.
This takeover enhances our capacities in terms of sealing equipment, transportation and re-heating solutions.
2002 : Launch of the new ARCHIPACK® and MARMIPACK® hot food containers. Acquisition of MacTrade, the main distributor for
Guillin Emballages in Italy.
2003 : Launch of our Spanish subsidiary, Guillin España.
2004 : Acquisition of Polish firm Anis Opakowania.
2005 : Acquisition by Anis Opakowania of the assets of the Polish company Blister Box which had a range of PP and OPS
products complementary to that of Anis Opakowania.
2006 : Acquisition by Veripack Embalajes of the assets relating to the fruit and vegetable packaging activity on the Barbera del Vallès
site of Autobar Packaging Spain.
Acquisition by Nespak of the UK company Premier Packaging.
2007 : Acquisition by Socamel Technologies of the assets relating to the "meal distribution trolley" activity of Colston in England and
creation of Socamel UK.
2008 : Acquisition of the assets relating to the "hot/cold containers and sealing film" activity of Adéquation Packaging by Rescaset Concept.
Launch of our Portuguese subsidiary Guillin Portugal.
2010 : Acquisition of Sharp Interpack in the UK.
Further strengthening our presence in the food industry, particularly in the meat sector.
2011 : Creation of Sharpak Aylesham, Sharpak Bridgwater, Sharpak Yate and Sharpak Nederland that became Guillin Nederland.
2012 : Creation of Groupe Guillin Inmobiliaria España (Barcelona).

2014 : Veripack Embalajes win the 2014 Pack the Future Award in the Packaging societal benefit category for their DISTRIPACK®

Creation of the German sales subsidiary GUILLIN DEUTSCHLAND.
Creation of the Spanish sales subsidiary TECNOLOGIAS SOCAMEL 3000, 100 % owned by Socamel Technologies.
2015 : Acquisition of the KREIS Group which includes three companies: KIV KREIS GmbH, KFB GmbH in Germany and KREIS PACK SP Zoo
